Terms and Conditions
General Terms These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms” and/or “Terms of Purchase”) apply to the purchase agreement that you, as a consumer, enter into with Ester Design / Vennad Invest AB, organization number 556528-4089, hereinafter referred to as “Ester Design”. You must be over 18 years old to shop with us or have a guardian’s permit. All material on the website is protected under copyright law and may not be downloaded without permission.
Price and Availability All prices are shown in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and include statutory Swedish VAT (Moms). In the event of price errors, we reserve the right to adjust or cancel orders. We cannot guarantee that an item visible on the website is in stock; in such a case, we will contact you as soon as we can. Colors can look different depending on which screen you are looking at, therefore we can never guarantee 100% that the color you see on the screen is an exact reflection of the real product.
Payment You can pay securely by bank transfer or credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. All transactions are sent encrypted via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and are completely secure. For maximum security, we also use 3D-Secure. Payments are processed by our partner Worldline.
Shipping and Delivery Orders within Sweden generally have a delivery time of 3-4 working days unless otherwise stated (e.g., tailor-made products). Free shipping applies to orders over 1000 SEK. If your shipment has not reached you within 7 working days after receiving the delivery confirmation, please contact us.
Unredeemed Packages Shipments that are not picked up and returned to us are not covered by the right of return or withdrawal. If the shipment is not picked up, we will charge you a fee of SEK 300 to cover our administrative and shipping costs.
Right of Withdrawal (Returns) As a private consumer, you have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. The withdrawal period begins the day you receive the item.
- Condition: Return the item in unchanged condition and in the original packaging. You have the right to open the packaging and try the product. If the product is damaged, we reserve the right to deduct a sum corresponding to the decrease in value.
- Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to tailor-made or custom-designed products.
- How to return: Contact us via email at info@esterdesign.se within 14 days. You are responsible for the return shipping cost. We do not accept returns sent via Cash on Delivery (Postförskott).
Refunds Once we have received and approved your return, we will issue a refund within 10 working days. The refund will be made to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Complaints (Warranty) For private consumers, the Consumer Purchase Act (Konsumentköplagen) applies. If you receive a damaged item, notify us within 2 days. You have a right to file a complaint for up to 3 years for manufacturing defects. Contact us at info@esterdesign.se with your order number and a description of the defect.
Force Majeure Ester Design is exempt from fulfilling the purchase agreement in the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as government action, new legislation, strike, war, fire, flood, or natural disaster.
Disputes In the event of a dispute, our policy is to follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board (Allmänna Reklamationsnämndens – ARN). You can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. We follow Swedish Consumer laws and Consumer Complaints Board recommendations in Sweden.
